Classic Caprese Salad


Classic Caprese Salad
ingredients:  1 fresh tomato,
                       1 fresh mozzarella,
                       leafs of basil,
                       olive oil,
                       salt




                      
Wash the tomato, dry and slice it in rounds, slice the mozzarella.
In a flat dish, lay a slice of tomato, a slice of mozzarella, a leaf of basil and keep doing until finish.
Now drizzle it with olive oil and season with a little salt.
Serve cold.

Let's stay light!! Great dish for the summer..

  1. I recently discovered caprese salad and it's become a favorite. This looks so beautiful. If you ever want tot change it up a bit, try roasting your tomatoes! YUM!

  3. I LOVE this! With fresh mozzarella...divine! I don't know why, but I actually feel healthy after eating it. I know, I know, cheese and olive oil...cholesterol city, but there's something about the simple ingredients that seems to do a body good...my body anyways. Thanks for the friend-ing on Foodbuzz!

  5. This is my favorite salad in the whole wide world! I order it anytime I go out and I see it's on the menu. I need to make it myself sometime!
